Dropped in on a local estate sale this morning and found an early 1980's Maytag pair in almond. Both were clean (although the dryer seemed to indicate heavy use of dryer sheets). The washer was a standard-capacity with 4 temperature selections and 3 speed combinations - I thought it was pretty well-optioned.
when I opened the lid I was surprised to find this - a Power Fin agitator, but no lint filter, no FS dispenser. It did have a bleach dispenser. Did not snap a pic of the model number (my bad); is this the original setup or has the agitator been changed out at some point?
The dryer was a matching almond Auto Dry model in gas. Currently I don't need another gas dryer. Had it been electric I might have bought the pair for my rental.
