Checked out 2 estate sales in town this past weekend and found some nice things for a change. 1. A vintage WearEver rectangular angel food cake pan $2. 2. A cute little desktop English made barometer set in blonde finished maple $5. 3. A very well kept almond & brown Mary Proctor percolator w/ removable glass bowl, warranty exp. Feb. 1976 (works perfectly) $3. 4. A black leather desk chair (replaces the old Office Max cheapie) for $25.
The Friday sale also yielded 4 leather purses @ $2 each, and a NIB bottle of Estee Lauder Beautiful cologne @ $2 for my wife. My Mom also found 2 purses for herself as well. The woman who's household was being sold off at the first sale had a HUGE collection of purses in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Women were almost getting into fights because they were such good quality handbags ( Coach, Gucci, Stone Mountain etc). It was fun to watch.
