Paging MisterEric!

This is only like 10 minutes from my house! We should go to this lol. Oh that lovely Cadillac and that Bendix are amazing. Shh, my 76 Caddy didn't hear me saying that. lol

Hmm wonder how the heck that would fit down my basement? Martin? hehe

Interesting

But as one has neither the space nor know-how to deal with a vintage Bendix washer/dryer will pass. Spied what could be some *older* laundry products but have been there and done that too many times. *LOL*

Am surprised the family or anyone else close to them didn't try to sell the *Caddy* either before owner's demise or whatever. Hope a collector steps in otherwise fear it will be snapped up by scrappers.

Regarding the condition of the place I'd wear deep boots and becareful when one trod should anyone go; the place looks a mess especially the laundry and garage area.

The weather this weekend is supposed to be beautiful, indeed quite nice for a drive into the country; however it is also *Super Bowl* time and getting most men any where beyond a television is going to be difficult at best.

HAHA Eddie

Now that I re-read my post, that does sound like what I am saying right? But alas, no, the Caddy won't fit down the stairs lol.

That Bendix doesn't looks much smaller by I would LOVE to finally have a washer/dryer combo and I always liked the Bendix.

Hmmm....

Maytag Washer?

Oh I don't know about that.

There seems to be a pretty obvious dryer vent hose leading away from whatever Maytag appliance is hidden under all that rubbish/grime. Therefore one can reasonably assume either the thing is a dryer or what is located to the left tis.

The latter represents a rather odd way to arrange a washer/dryer set up as one can see from the angle of the hose it is most certainly connected to the Maytag. If it comes from the other side that is a very long run to start an angle at that position.

Train Set

Same way it was put there but in reverse; that is the thing would have to be dismantled and packed. It would be tedious work but much of the set-up can be taken apart into bits or subsections. Providing away was found to secure any loose objects parts could be taken out "flat" and loaded into a truck or something with equally large cargo space. This though would depend upon if it's possible to get such sections out of the house via doors or maybe the garage.

As we here have our tricks to shift appliances toy RR buffs have theirs and a collector with serious interest shouldn't have any problem moving that set-up. The only problem would be how much time the sellers are willing to allot for the taking down and packing. Then there is of course how does the new owner protect his "investment" between the time the deal is closed until he can shift the lot/take possession.

I think that might be a RCA color TV behind that exercise contraption.  RCA New Vista?

I would love to paw through all that stuff! I would like the desk lamp and the secretary with the nice legs. Is the train set on top of a shuffle board? There is a green Hoover convertible hidden in there too. The orange wing back, isn't that the same as Archie Bunker's
