Point taken
I love to hear about the virtues of different washers and each owner can certainly bring mastery to getting the most of each machine. Someone apparently bought those Hoovers...were they gluttens for extra work? And speaking of "not a blanket indictment against all twin tub units", those don't appear to be the go-to choice for doing blankets, comforter, etc...but the Twins look like they would handle it.
I like the Twin-Tubs, myself...and never used it, or any of the other interesting vintage stuff from my childhood years and beyond. I like the old washers, too - with the rollers, as my mom had. I hope my comment about not posting Twin Tubs isn't a signal that they're of little value...was not making any hints of any sort that was the message. I just see better examples of Twin-Tubs and whether that matters or not, that's ok - this might be a beauty in some one's eyes and forgive me for possibly imposing a visual standard on this appliance. Plenty are returned to new condition. But it does seem, more would enjoy a better example for a twin tub..that was just my expression.
You guys out there into Twin-Tubs...keep on washin'. Launderess might bring, as with other postings, your dream Twin-Tub come true.
