Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Hmm, I hadn't thought of a fridge on the dryer. But a wider fridge also means a wider door and that has to open into the room. Now that is actually my main concern.

What I was thinking of was a 50 cm wide fridge on a 50 cm wide dishwasher...

We have a full size "all fridge" in the kitchen that we got the previous owners to leave when we bought the place. I kinda like it (other than some mech problems), certainly tons of storage space inside because there's no freezer section. If our kitchen was configured right I'd get a matching upright all fridge, all freezer set and have them side by side.

Theo,

Or a 60cm fridge on top of the dryer and a 45cm dishwasher next to it. I think it might take ages before an A++ fridge in 50cm will appear on the market. They are perhaps not wide enough for the thicker insulation. Or perhaps the market share is too small to put A++ fridges in that size on the market.

Louis,

You may be right, the insulation thickness is a likely reason for not having 50 cm wide A++ rated fridges on the market.

As said, for the time being I can manage with my Dometic fridge. I am just evaluating some ideas, but I haven't decided on a specific set-up yet.
