Let's try to look past any politics.
After all, one of the leaders/ founders of a major world religion was anti-political, anti-violence,anti-govenment, anti-organized religion, anti-hate and anti-judgement.
He was about regaining one's personal power through love and prayer and self-discipline/fasting and most of all forgiveness.
If everyone on the planet did just one thing per day to beneft another person without ego, self-centeredness or the desire /need to feel special/elite or above/better than anyone else, the world would be a more beautiful place.
The hard part is suppressing the ego to actually DO such things automatically. It's nto an easy struggle.
No matter what one thinks of such contests, they can all be seen with purity of thought if one so chooses. There is ugly everywhere. We can ALL choose not to focus on it.
