My Condolences

As I am a relatively new member here I have little knowledge of Terry. I do however know what it's like to lose a dear friend. I wish I would have had the chance to meet him. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Here in silence is a picture of my Kenmores blacked out. I belive he would have loved them. Terry the next wash I do in this set is for you.

It is very telling that hearts are breaking all over the country. Our world is darker for his passing, but let us be thankful he was among good, good friends and (I'm sure) he felt loved at his time of passing.

How Sad.

Terry was one of those people that you think will be around forever. In many ways I am sure he will be.
I am glad that I was able to spend time with him at a few wash-in's over the years. One thing that I always noticed about Terry is that he always managed to spend a little "private" time with each person at the events I attended. I have a lot of great memories of Terry even though I really did not spend large amounts of time with him. One memory that sticks out is from a Wash-In that we attended in Ohio. The car that we were traveling in was broad sided when a teenager ran a stop sign. Terry and I, and someone else was in the back seat. Terry was in the middle. Lucky the wreck was not very bad, but it jolted the car we were in and caused us to fishtail a little. Terry had a big, fresh Starbucks Coffee! Well it ended up all over me. Before we could even discuss what just took place, Terry was so worried that I was burned! He then started to tell me he knew just what to do so that the coffee would not stain the shirt I was wearing! So Terry! I think about this all the time when I think about Terry! Great Memories!

My heart and Prayers go out to Terry his family and friends here. From what I see he was loved by all and will be missed by all. I am sorry I didn't have the pleasure of meeting him.

I have never met Terry but from the photos he looks like a lovely guy with a twinkle in his eye.

I'm Deeply Touched

I never got to meet Terry, but I am very deeply touched by the love and devotion shown by this club. He was no doubt a truly wonderful human being, and I am saddened by his passing.

i never met Terry face to face but he did e-mail me with encouragement when I was laid up with a foot and bone infection 4 years ago.  He was always happy and liked everyone.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his close friends and family.

Dave and I never had a chance to meet him, but I'm sure he's in heaven and the angels are lining up with their soiled wings and robes and asking him which washing machine they should use to take out the stains. After the rest of heaven finds out that he's arrived, another line forms with angels inquiring about which vacuum to use on a particular cloud. Our condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear of Terry's passing.........

I had never met him and not been able to travel to a wash-in (yet) but have seen him in many of the photos posted here in my short couple of years or so here and from the post above and the photos I can see he had many, many friends and was loved by all. Thoughs and Prayers.........
