Strawberries and beer uploaded from Android 4.1 cell phone, using mobile Chrome browser. No option to upload multiple photos with that combo. Will try mobile Firefox next.

Oh I should mention that if you don't have Java-script turned on you wont get the new photo posting box that looks like this, you will see the old one. And MOBILE isn't ready yet, this is only for the desktop version of the site.

It does not give me any other option to upload a pic, nor the classical thing (which in the ipad was anyway unaccessible, I could not click it), nor the new system..
All it says now is: "Your browser doesn't have Flash, Silverlight or HTML5 support"
I gave up with it anyway.....just wish I can get a real tablet soon and dump this one out the window....

It does not give me any other option to upload a pic

Don't worry about that now Freddy, I realize that, on older systems the old picture posting button will still be available, I'm not done yet, this is a first draft. But if you weren't able to use it before and can't use an upload on facebook this wont change anything. This test was meant to test desktop systems and iPad 4 and 5.

Earlier ipads wont be able to use this.

My goal for next week will be to fix the IE8/9 issues if possible, otherwise I will just keep the old system for older versions of IE. I will keep everyone posted on m progress. I think this will add some great new functionality to the sites!

As long as everyone can scroll through the pictures than half the battle is won.

Thank you Robert, the problem is that it won't allow me to upload pics anywhere, not only here, as you can read I am pretty frustrated for it as it is really limiting and among constant crashes and various problems this thing is driving me crazy, for what concerns AW it still shows the classical old upload button in all the other threads but isn't accessible, it's like if it's obscured, it is there but cannot click it... Is this normal?
But it's heartening to know the new system isn't meant to work with my Ipad model, even if this is for reasons I don't really understand, is this what you meant?.....All I know is that I've never had problems posting pics using my old tablet that got broken, I was given this Ipad thing from a friend and I hate it, but that's the only thing I have to get online right now, apart office computer...
Didn't really get what you meant with IE......but I thank you for your hard work anyway, it is appreciated and love this new system, just sad I am not abke to use it....i was hoping for it...

Suggestion for the "full size" picture view (maybe this is already planned) ... have it appear in a floating frame on the parent window instead of opening to a new window, and have forward/back buttons or hotspots on the floating frame to flip through the pics in full-size view.

Oh I agree Glenn, that would be ideal, however that idea will be a nightmare to get that to work across older browsers. Something for the future for sure though. Maybe at first the full size will load right in the post. Once I get the upload process working I can refine the details of viewing.

IPad/Opera Coast/Pics From Cloud. Third pic is an edit.

Forth pic is an edit from my main computer. Firefox browser. Fifth pic is Safari browser from iPad. Hope the last pic isn't controversial. It's a poster of an album cover. Works good here. Main computer operating system is Windows 8.[this post was last edited: 5/16/2014-19:07]

I can only see pics in (3) posts- 757462, 757495, and 757498. The rest have tiny blue boxes with white ?'s, and I can't seem to upload at all. I'm on an android phone.

I haven't had time to read all of the posts to see everyone else's responses. This is not working well for me. I'm using Firefox. I can only select one file, then I have to hit preview to refresh everything to load the next file, and so on. I can't use the control key to select multiple files when I'm choosing files from three different drives on the computer. Somehow while adding pictures  the page reset itself and I lost all the previous pictures and had to start over, so I gave up. I can add multiple pictures to one post by loading them on my server and using html tags. For me, that is easier.

OK my turn!

FANTASTIC idea Robert!   Thank you for doing this!   The only possible addition or tweak I can think of not sure if it's possible) would be a way to add captions for each photo.  It's not important, but just a thought.

Here are "a few" photos I have taken during my travels, in no particular order.

For anyone who may be interested, the 1st photo is the all aluminum V-16 engine block from a 1931 Marmon.

And yes that IS a 747 on top of the building in the last photo!

I hope you enjoy!

Kevin

**info for Robert.  On my Mac using Safari, I selected the folder, ctrl "A" for all and posted w/o preview.   Looks like it worked perfectly!

Thanks everyone for the great tests! As of me writing this there are 218 pictures loaded in this thread, but you would never know it!!

OK I figured out a way to load pictures from more than one directory or folder at a time, or add more files once the add files button is grayed out. Simply drag pictures from your directories or folders into the white Add Photos Here box...

I agree with you Louis, next week I will work on both getting IE fixed and getting the Add Files button to not get grayed out so users can continue to add files from different directories and folders to the original box load if they wish.

I'll start a new test post when I'm done. Thanks everyone for helping test!
