Awhile back many will remember I posted how my Maxim convection oven was damaged during shipping and the glass door was shattered.

Not one to give up easy began looking for someone that would do small tempered glass orders and found a place out in the Pacific Northwest, "One Day Glass".

The company does all sorts of glass items but their greatness lies in they will do small tempered glass things such as oven/toaster oven doors and such. Requirements are a bit of information about the piece and that one send a trace pattern via mail.

Here you must take great care in that you create a pattern that matches what you want exactly including indicating where any hinges or holes for screws will go. Tempered glass cannot be drilled after production; holes and such must be made during the process and in short what you send is what you'll get.

Have been using my Maxim oven now for about 2 months with the new glass and while it is slightly off (my fault for bad pattern), am still that glad to be able to use the thing again.

Randy is the person I dealth with and will give you the full treatment.
