Dadoes, you've been incredibly helpful while I adjust to our new F&P IWL12... maybe you can help again?! I adjusted the water level as you shared, works great, still having problems w/jeans getting under the water & any rolling agitation, but I've resolved myself to having to set the water level manually for them & had pretty much settled in my mind to keep the washer. Partly because it was new, & partly due to 3 kids, I did several loads a day, and thought I noticed water dripping from the fresh water spout at the end of each wash, but attributed it to just excess water left over from spin. Today I opened the lid after not doing a load in two days & there is a puddle in the bottom of the tub... it's obviously dripping from that spout... Any remedies/ideas...? We have city water (I read somewhere that wells can cause this...)Thanks in advance for your time & sage advice!!

Sounds like water valve may be defective since it's not completely shutting off. Is the macvhine still under warranty? If so, call for a service tech.
Both of mine have done this, the GWL08 after I moved it to granny's, and my IWL12 when I moved to the new house. I got them both back in order. Nothing specific, just worked with it until the dripping stopped. Wasn't necessary (at least not in my cases) to disassemble the valves. There could be a bit of trash caught in the valve. I think there are screens inside the valve where the hoses attach which should keep out any debris, but maybe a bit of sand slipped through. You could try flushing the valves. Take ONE hose off (either hot or cold), get a bucket or pan or THICK towel up against the valve to catch any flow, set the machine to warm fill and run the water for a bit. It should (theoretically) back-flow out the open side. While the hose is off, open that faucet full-blast and let it run a bit to see if anything flushes out from the tap. Then switch the hoses and repeat. Also check if there are screens at the faucet end of the hoses and flush them clear if necessary.
The next step might be to open up the console and tap lightly on the solenoids.
You can run the hot and/or cold water valves directly in diagnostic mode. With power off, press and hold Lifecycle, then press Power. The display backlight will come on but the LCD will (should) be blank. You are now in diagnostic mode. You can press Lifecycle again to get the display on, and then Option Up or Option Down to cycle between several diagnostic screens, but not necessary to do that just for running the water. Press/hold Soil Level Up to run the hot water. Press/hold Soil Level Down to run cold water. Press Fabric Care to turn the pump on (or off) to drain any filled water. Press Power to exit diagnostic mode.
