I have been using Purex Mountain Breeze Detergent and Fabric Softener for 5 months now and let me say I AM DISAPPOINTED. I love the smell to pieces but the softener thickens too easily and it always leaves a residue in my Softener dispenser on all my machines even in my Calypso and Neptune. I tried to stop the residue by dissolving it in HOT water but the issue continued and I could not dissolve it in 1 cup of HOT water because the all my softener dispensers are too small to hold 1.5 cups of liquid like in my downy ball that I use in my 1982 Kenmore It will not fit inside. And on my Calypso and Neptune it would go over the MAX FILL LINE and trip the siphon and ALL of it would drain into the tub. When I used it in the 1-18 while I had it on the porch I poured it into the tub right next to the agitator and after it was done there was Fabric Softener stains. I think I'm going to go back to my ALL Time favorites. All and Snuggle. Snuggle has never thickened or left a residue. I want to use a Free and clear detergent because I don't want to mix the 2 smells together. I like them both but I want them separate from one another. I'm just disappointed that I have to switch back. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone have any suggestions?
