Origignal!!! The clock and light could be either ordered that way, in that case the range would have had a storage drawer, if ordered plain it would just have a blank plate with no drawer..My mother and Dad got one of these new in Dec 1950 with a matching fridge, She always said it was the best stove ever, Our neighbor also had this same stove and I many good meals at her house! Also, the minute timer was included on the deluxe model, not on the plain jane.

This is a Frigidaire "Thifty 30" and I think it's one of the very early 30-inch ranges available. I always thought it was odd to have the clock and light over the back panel, but I've seen a number of these over the years and they all look that way. I have yet to see one without the clock/light component. I'll bet these do a nice job baking and provide the cook with a big oven.

This same stove

was the first electric stove my Mama bought (years before I was born).  And yes, that clock was original as Mama's had the same clock and timer.  And, the clock kept perfect time!  Mama used this stove for decades with no problems.  Back in 1974 there was an electrical problem in the house and this stove would not operate.  Thinking the stove had gone bad Mama ran out and purchased a brand new top of the line 1974 Frigidaire stove in avacado.  Guess what, it wouldn't work either.  That is when we discovered the wiring problem.  Mama had already given her original stove away so she was stuck with the new Frigidaire which worked well but did have it's quirks.  Mama always regretted getting rid of her white stove.   I've been looking for this stove to show up.  Thanks for the memories!
