I picked up these new dishwasher tabs, they look exactly like US Cascade Complete tabs with the 2 colour liquid bit. Not surprisingly, they are premium price, 22 for the same price as 30 regular Fairy tabs. They are supposed to help clean the machine out as well as having superior cleaning ability to the regular ones (!) Hmm we'll see, I find the regular ones do a great job as it is, but I'm a sucker for anything new!

Anyone tried these yet?

I just bought a pack this evening; haven't tried them yet.

I was in 'Semi-Chem' the other day and noticed that they were selling Finish 'Max in 1' 38s, for four Quid. They are usually something like £9.50!

Maybe the Finish tabs are not such a good buy after all: they make my Bosch very foamy.

Try the...

...W5 tabs from Lidl....they wash brilliantly and are one of the cheapest on the market...

We used to use them in our Bosch in the UK in 2004 and had great results. Which magazine also recommended them as a top performer and couldn't fault them...expecially at the price

We've

been using the U.S. version for and find they work quite well. The only exception is tea stains linger in our Corningware teapot. Nothing that a splash of Clorox bleach instantly rinses away.

Does your package list the percentage of phosphates? It is called out as 7% here. No machine cleaning benefits are claimed.

By the way, the new Finish-Electrasol tablets have just arrived at the grocery here. The are on-par pricewise with the Cascade "All-in-One' products.

The phosphates are listed as "up to 30%".

Rolls_rapide - let us know how they are, if you use them soon. I'm still working my way through a bag of regular ones!
