Sorry that you didn't hear from that guy, I just suggested you as I remebered of it..... but try to wait a little bit, maybe he is on vacation, you know it's August.....
Anyway that square shaped console is nice also! Not sure if the square one can fit on these models...it will? It's very nice as well!
I'm happy you got that 2 Speed motor also and for that good price.
Wished it was so easy to find one for me but 220 volt 50hz to change on my one, as my clutch has gone and now run on 1 speed only, sincerely it is one thing I'm feared to mess with....you know it would be best to find a new motor+clutch+solenoid already mounted, I can't go wrong with it.
Martin once tried to explain me how to do to replace the clutch, but I'm concerned to do a mess with and anyway would need a new solenoid also, as it is not in that good shape , it suffered alot the oil leak from the lower seal 2 years ago.....
Getting in Italy a new motor assembly that runs at 220 volt is such an ardous task as GE dealers now only have parts for the new models...I may try to go with Latin America parts shop where they have 220 volt but who knows what I will get then?
Actually I think the transmission will also fail in the next years, it ran alot and of course can't last forever, it just had a lower shaft seal failure so I'm expecting the next one ìwill be into the tub, not to mention a gear failure, I do not even want to think of it, finger crossed, but that will happend sooner or later and already know that will be a great mess...
Will try to keep her alive till I can....

keep in mind.....this 2 n 1 agitator fits the largest capacity tub, but uses the small capacity tranny....
I have placed this in a standard capacity machine, the lid will close.....and for a one speed machine, it now offers a gentle agitation.....

Funny thing about that one speed machine.......you ain't washing a small load with the lid open....you WILL get soaked!.....

...yes, it is a splasher! You almost have to run it with the filter pan in place to deflect a lot of it back into the tub.

..So is there only one clutch solenoid? I see motors with and without them. This solenoid cost as much as the motor/solenoids I've come across.
