Re: The GE dryer in Holland:
Does anyone remember in the late 50s/very early 60s when lower end GE dryers without the pedal door opening feature had this same handle, but it was mounted horizontally in the top corner of the door? Our neighbor's GE with the pod-like box with just the white timer dial and the push to start key on a lever had that type of door handle.
