OK Everyone, there is very bad news, there is no Apex coming. I received a message today that confirmed that.

I will let John explain what happened if he wishes to do so.

So the search continues everyone! One day we will find one, I know that. Thanks for everyone's good wishes about this on the other threads.

What can I say?

Oh, Robert! To say I'm so very sorry will be an understatement. :-(

I hope that one day you get to experience the thrill of finding and restoring an Apex.

Mike

Robert, I'm really sorry that this had to happen to you, but I know that you WILL find one someday. You'll be at a sale and stumble upon your dream machine in the same way you found the 1957 Westinghouse combo...find the manual in the kitchen, then go down to the basement and see it peeking out from a dimly lit corner!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that Robert. But as others said I'm sure it'll come and hit you in the backside before you even know it!

Good luck, and you WILL find it!!!!

Jon

Thats a bummer...But one day you will find one! And it will be the most remembered thing on this message board.

We will continue...........

to search musty basements, dusty sheds. I have a hopeful feeling at least one will be found. arthur

Sorry to learn that this did not work out. Robert, I am sure that you will find your Apex at some point, and it could be yet this year. Lots of rare machines have popped up this year...

S**T!!!

I'm sorry Robert, I really am.
You'll find one though, its out there and its waiting for you.

Hi Robert, Just know how sorry I am that this didn't work out for you. You are such a special guy though and I know that there is another Apex out there and somehow it will make its way to you!! Terry

Hey Robert,

I am really sorry that this transaction was not able to be completed - but on the bright side, we all know that great things come to great people, and you are definitely on the top of that list!

Don't stop deaming ~

Ben

Robert that sucks!
Sorry about that!
I agree like everyone else here though, one will turn up!
John, would love to hear your story.
Brent

Keeping things in perspective................

I too feel bad for Robert that the machine didn't make it to Minneapolis, and yes, we will all help Robert find his dream machine. Let's not forget what is really important here folks. Another Apex will find us and we will move on. The tragic loss this weekend is not a bouncing basket Apex, but the sexual favors that were offered--all down the drain like yesterday's rinse water. Now they will be hard to find again.

I guess Mark and I will have to just RUST.

Let's hear it John. You have kept this man under wating and wanting for his dream machine for a long time now. So, bud, whats the story???????

Hang in there Webmaster, it will come true.

Steve

Well maybe not that hard Don ;)

Thanks everyone, oh god all this drama, Search for Tomorrow couldn't have done it better.

I'll let John tell the story of how the machines were "tragically stolen". [Insert Organ Music Here]

Robert, I'm a trained hypnotist. I am going to clap my hands twice, and when I do, you will forget all about the Apex. It will be erased from your memory bank, along with the disappointment.

CLAP-CLAP!!

Did it work?

no eugene, that wont work! the only remedy is for robert to sit down with us and tell us EVERYTHING that happened. only then can robert begin to heal.
