Finally a good video of the GE unitized washer....

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

thanks for the vid...I was curious as well....

at first I thought, not enough water, but then it added more, and it didn't seem to improve washing....

just seems if the strokes were slower it would be more effective...

I think I would rather have WCI/Frigidaire's indexing tub

Interesting.
Yea that's pretty lame wash action.
Yogi's right, the Frigidaire agitub does a remarkably better job moving clothes around.
And I've yet to see a low water agitator/wash plate design roll/bloom clothes over like WP's wash plate designs.
LG's are decent too.

Interesting ...

The first portion of the wash cycle with low water seems very rough on clothes, then with added water it's better.

It just seems to me or is it he washing without detergent?

Very unimpressed. It seems the machine cant make its mind up quick enough to fill the tub with enough water then agitate clothes enough and then when the spin cycle comes it just dabbles in it for a while before remaining spinning. All that start-stop wasted motion is gonna kill parts too soon.
