We picked this up this afternoon from a collector. I knew, it's a 1962 whirlpool telephone dial dishwasher. It's the top-of-the-line version with the wash arm and the dual detergent dispenser.
Paul turquoise dude found one of these a half dozen years ago in turquoise up in Canada, I tried to talk him out a bit, but he likes it as well.
This was the first design built-in dishwasher, whirlpool ever built themselves, when consumer reports tested it around 1959 they said it washed better without detergent and most dishwashers did with detergent. It was so effective.
This one appears to be in very good shape. It will join the wall of dishwashers at the museum after some servicing.
