Hopefully these come thru...a couple of shots of my "new" workshop taken from both ends. But first a picture of little Ben taken in front of the fireplace. Isn't he cute. I stole those chairs from my mothers house, she wasn't sitting on them and they look better here, she didn't even know till she came over and called me a cheeky monkey LOL

Looking into my downstairs workshop

I've lined up some of my vacs against the wall till I figure out what/where I'm going to put them all. Dilema's but look at all the pegboard I have to hang stuff up YAY

Looking into the laundry room with its lovely wallpaper and border. Love those curtains hiding some of the shelving. And there you can see my FF safe and sound after a harrowing cross country trip in the back of a Uhaul with only a slight dent in the top of the control panel which I can hopefully dedent

And my current product selection.. note all the Downy's. I had to buy them because the grocery was giving out extra airmiles for every two purchased. And the first bottle of bleach I've bought in over a decade. That Spin detergent I bought at a clearance place,, ultra cheap but works but not good enough on someone elses clothes so I had to get a box of Tide.

Ok, the workshop from the other end.. not that it's anything to look at but a mess of junk piled. Aunt Jemima arrived intact as did the lovely white Proctor Silex percolator with lights..whew..up there hidden on the shelves.

Two questions:
How do you like the all fridge?
Where's yor freezer?
I thought about this option for my new house and it was more expnsive (esp. for the no frost freezer) and i felt it was worth it..But couldn't find any nice Refrige only units..

BTW: Black Bannans make great bread

The Dutch touch

If Louis ever visits he won't get homesick for windmills when he cranks out some coffee. But if that's too much there's always the Grind'n Brew conventiently located on the counter behind it.

Why have just one windmill when you can have two. I'm not sure about this lamp that hangs over the kitchen table... not quiiiiite my taste. It might make a good earring though

Not my favorite choice for a floor, but i'd keep it... Unless i could afford the beautiful glass hexagonal tiles i found ($150 a SQ FT not installed!)

Pete: There is a song about bananas: "Bananas come from the equator, that's why you should never put them in the refrigerator.", only cheeky monkeys refrigerate them. Also, your dog is cute. I have a 10 year old Border Collie named Girly-girl. She is mostly black/with white paws and chest. Phil

Pete, thanks for posting. Your new house is awesome. I LOVE that workshop; with the long workbench, that is the perfect vacuum workshop in my opinion. I'm envious!

Ah, those morning ablutions....

so necessary to get the day off to a good start!!! Great floor and wall tile. Does the MAR feature a separate tile
shower? Is that a nice marble formica vanity top we're
glimpsing?

Darrel, it's an odd layout I think.. That large bathroom has an entrance in the hallway and a cheater door to the master bedroom, there is no shower stall or shower at all for the tub. Now right beside it, where I was standing in the hall taking the pic is another smaller bathroom sans bath but with an original tiled corner shower and vanity.. Both vanities look to be original laminate, not granite. I would have thought the larger bathroom with tub etc would be it's own room for everyone to use, no cheater door and the smaller bathroom with just the shower would be for the master bedroom alone, so what the builder was thinking I dunno, it's not the way I would have done it originally.

Pturo. .any chance of a girly-girl dog pic.. we have another border collie.. Parker,, he's 12 now but was sleeping when I took the pic. Ben will be 4 in March. Grew up with BC's, always had BC's

Austin, I'm thrilled with this space, finally, finally I have something proper.. LOL
The laugh is my partner figured he'd take the garage to put up all his "stuff" tools etc and do some wood refinishing. The garage is heated and comfy enough you don't need a jacket really but this is so much nicer.. too bad so sad I say to him.. LOL

Nice pics, Pete! I had a lady bring in a Concept for repair, just like the blue one you have. Gorgeous colors. She ain't lettin' go of that thing either!
