Hello all,
I am new here, but as I was doing research on a vintage dishwasher my mother has, it kept leading me here. So when she asked to help find a new home for it, I thought of you all to start. Some background, my mother just bought a house built just after WWII from the owner who built the house. While most of the appliances have been updated, a beautiful Kitchenaid KDS-15 by Hobart with light Birch veneer was still in place. I am not big into appliances, but one look at it told me that I could not allow it to be hauled away and junked.
Upon cursory inspection, the dishwasher functions, however it does not draw in water. Some photos are attached.
What I am wondering is if anyone may have some idea of why it is not drawing in water, or some questions on how to determine the issue. We are selling it if anyone here wants first dibs, if not how much and where (Ebay?) to sell it. I would love it if it went into someones collection or vintage home re-store.
The dishwasher is in Mason City, IA
