I remember as a little boy (abt 1963) that many automotive businesses had wringer washers to clean cloth towels.
Any chance that this is a rebadged BOL machine for a Firestone Tire shop? There could be a wringer head under the leaves. The inconspicuous "Firestone" label and inexpensive cabinetry with exposed screw heads is certainly suggestive.

Firestone tire shops sold their own branded major appliances at one time. They were outsourced from other manufactures. That machine is very rare. Apparently a 1947 model.
1947 and 1948 had the same model #s: 5812 & 5813, no specs on either. 5816 had a 23 inch tub. They all seemed to have the same 4 vane agitator.

I love looking at "illustrated" ads. They and old postcards with the linen finish, such as those published by the Curt Teich Co., have a unique charm.

I see on the catalog or ad posted by Ultramatic at the bottom of the left page that the washer had a head with possibly rollers?
I didn't see it nearby, I will have to go back into the bush and look around to find out. Snow is now on the ground, it will be more difficult.

Yes, it was a wringer washer, most common at the time. Since powered wringer heads are generally quite heavy, they are often detached before moving.
