No snow here yet, and very warm here too. I think the weather is to change here though tomorrow, colder. Does anyone from Illinois remember the awful snow we had on Thanksgiving Eve of 1975? I was working on my masters at ISU that year and it took me 2 1/2 hours to drive from Normal to Pontiac.
I love snow and I can't wait to have some. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. Gary

Right now my ForcastFox says it's 53 rainy degrees here in Mid Michigan. Up until a week a go I had impatiens still growing in my garden, I picked the last tomatoes and peppers around the 7th - here that normally happens at the end of September - weird. Last year was weird here too, no hard freeze until end of December, I was working outside in the mud in mid December.
Hey, as long as we get a little snow in Dec. and Jan I'd be happy. Warm and sunny after that would be fine!

Hey, has anyone seen those Geico ads doing the Jed Clampett expose? First time I saw one it sure made me to a double take and pay attention. They have other ones but they don't seem to run these ads as often as they do the gecko ones, which I find very boring.

First Snow
I am spending Thanksgiving in Palm Springs basking in the sun. Been there and done that with the snow . As i get older i need more heat and less cold seems my old washing machines agree too !! Have a great Thanksgiving guys !!

Maytag Mom, you must be visiting from Texas. What a treat getting to see some snow and then getting to see Greg's beautiful collection!!! Yay for two big treats in one day!
We are heading up to Grand Marais, MN this weekend, which is a five hour drive north near the boarder so hopefully we will see some white stuff up there. ***Fingers Crossed***

Well ofcorse the praire isnt getting any but we up here in the mountains (or Hills) of Dakota got between 5 and 8 inches.
Since we useaully have our first major blizzard between oct 15th and holloween it was a welcome sight. Makes me wish I had a fireplace and a significant other to snuggle up to

Yay I spoke too soon, we got our first little dusting of snow of the season after sunset last night as well. Just a little tiny bit is perfect for Thanksgiving.

Robert, here in Central WI the sky is blue, and the ground is bare.
Norther hit yesterday eve. Dropped from lower 80°Fs to lower 40°Fs this morn. Some rain last night. Quite blustery today.
It's 39 now, brrr!!!! Will be rainy and mid 40s highs and 30s for lows on Sat. and Sun.
It was snowing here somewhat this morning but it was that heavy wet half snow/rain that melted instantly when it hit the ground. Whew
Turned to snow again but by the time I got the camera out it was back to rain. Gloomy looking days like this are stay in days for me

But when I alighted from a metro train this afternoon I thought for a moment otherwise. The platform had been generously sprinkled with salt to prevent ice. It is not freezing though, but here in the Netherlands we like to be prepared
