First Tumble Dryer

Hello does anyone know who made the first domestic tumble dryer, I have always wanted to know and see a picture of it. I look in various books etc but it does not say much but they apperared in the 1950's

Hi Keith,
If my memory serves me correctly it may have been Electric Electric, which appeared in the Mid-50's, but them some may say, Burco or Bendix.
Maybe be wrong, this is just off the top of my head.
