Fisher and Pykel Dryers

Question:
Who makes the Fisher and Pykel front load dryer? Is it GE??
I like the plastic top and such on it for use as counter space..
Found one at lowes on scratch and dent clearnce for $299, so im tempted

The front load dryer is indeed a GE made dryer. I've heard they are pretty good dryers as well...

To replace or not to replace...
I have a generic kenmore now that will last for ages (its already old enough to drink, its been drivin for about 8 years now and it no longer has acne).. I have been told by the nice repairman from sears it has lots of life left.. Just don't have space for more than one dryer...
