Thanks!  I just called my cousin in Detroit with the barely working tappan 600 and told him about it.  For some reason he doesn't want to fix what he has or replace it.  I guess he doesn't mind running up and down the stairs to the basement range.  Part of him wants  to move, part of him is ambivalent.  Just for  reference he live in the 6 Mile & Hoover area  not the greatest part of Detroit to be in....

I just drove by there yesterday..didn't get a twingle at all.
You could pick that up on the way to the cottage,, have it installed by next weekend.
