Flair Range... C'mon

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Seems a little steep.

I bought a 1962 30 inch Custom Imperial for $40. It was (and still is) untested. It's coppertone color.

I'm pretty sure it works well, but I suspected the oven thermostat was bad because the previous owner removed it as if to replace it, but realized that they couldn't find a replacment, so they just left it.

The control panel glass was missing and it took me a while to find one. Especially for the 30" model. I paid way too much for a replacement.

I plan to have 220 ran to the kitchen, get rid of the POS GE gas range thats in there, and replace it with the Flair.

I bought a brand new identical thermostat for $15 and installed it. So that should be ok. I'll have to test everything out when I get it installed. I'm going to wait till warmer weather to get an electrician out to intall the 220.
