Here's a group of 'stuff' I didn't want to shoot individually. Most of this was part of a $10 lot we bought from a bottom-feeder! We got a great push button switch w/brass wall plate, some other brass wall plates, 2 lighted "indicator" switches, a mis-matched vac pot w/ 3 different filters, one of which Rich hadn't seen before, some glass trays for, I believe, Toastmaster and Toastwell hospitality sets, a few popcorn and satin-finish Christmas lights, some old plastic switch covers, a Hamilton Beach companion booklet, and more! Rich liked the little pixie shelf-sitter at a side-of-the-road dealer with some other stuff, and couldn't resist the Salem North Star gravy boat!
I had taken a picture of a pair of super oval frames we got, but don't know where it went to! They have metal backs and curved-glass fronts! Steals at $12 each!
Bobby and I picked up some stuff yesterday at Brimfield (pix to come?) and Ron, Rich, and I are supposed to go back for "Cone-Licker Day," a.k.a., "BLT Day." Typically, families w/ or w/o kids (cone-lickers) show up for a day of lollygagging through the fields, marvelling at what Grandma had (the only one who cared what your grandmother had was your grandfather!), B rowsing, L ooking, and T ouching (BLT)... but not buying.
We tend to call it by the same name dealer friends of ours from the UK call it... Mopping-Up Day. Sometimes you can get some better buys that day because the dealers don't want to take X, Y, or Z home, and we mop up!
