Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

not very much... it's super sudsy

~1/3 cup for a smallish load in our large toploader.

I use it mostly for presoaking/prewashing grimy work or gardening clothes.

.

We love Foca around here! A little goes a long way with Foca. It cleans so well. Just enough that it suds up a bit, and it does fine.

My partner used to think I was crazy about detergents and washers, but now he has come on board with me. He brought a 10 lb bag of Foca home the last trip he made to Chicago.

Me too. I had been using Tide previously. I tried Foca cause of what i read here. Dont need to buy Tide anymore.

Funny, Foca seems sudsier that Tide, yet its easier to rinse. How is that??

Very nice traditional scent thats not cloying. Dissolves better (for me) than Sears powder.

Since i use it only for lights/whites, i welcome the nice dose of bluing.

Seems you could use as little as 1/4 cup for a colored/light soil load in a TL. Love Foca.

I measure it just like the old American detergents before they became super concentrated.

1 to 1 1/4 Cups for a full load. More if really dirty.
FOCA is not as high-sudzing as VIVA, but it does take some getting used to. Fagettabout using it in an F/L machine although I braved it a couple of times in the Philco/Bendix without too much trouble.

Funny, Foca seems sudsier that Tide, yet its easier to rinse. How is that?? ------> The magic of Phosphates.

We use it all the time, its wonderful. 3/4 cup in most of our machines, but I use a full cup in the Wards with the HUGE tub.

I love Foca! I love Foca! And you can get huge bags here in Atlanta for hardly nothing!
Oh....it is also great to wash your car with. A little goes a long way.

Someone mentioned washing cars with it. I use Foca to scrub my bathtub. It really cuts thru the scum and the tile sparkles afterward. Just a little sprinkle.

Foca for general household cleaning

I used to use Foca to clean the bathtubs, too!

But now I've rediscovered BonAmi, and like that even better.

I love FOCA as well. Isn't as pungent as Ariel and I second that comment on "the magic of phosphates". It rinses out of the laundry very nicely. God bless those Tlaxcalan immigrants; they've made life here in white bread land so much better. I just wish I could find a tienda that carried Ariel Bajaespuma. Sometimes I go down to Astoria to the Brazilian markets and pick up OMO, they have like 5 varieties and they work well too.

Foca is great stuff, but a guaranteed sudzlock! Be sure to select the automatic extra rinse, if your machine has that feature.

Hi Allen, I saw some bags of Phosphate Free Foca at Walmart awhile back. Timot bought a 10 lb bag of Foca with phosphates at a mexican store a few weeks ago though.
