Anybody who insists on washing with cold water deserves what they get no matter what type of machine they have. Oh the label says that....HA! They just don't want to put up with people who say "oh this has faded and you didn't tell me!" Please. On the other hand "hot" is totally over rated for "whites". If your detergent is any good you don't need a super high temp. Good grief....do these people actually DO laundry?

My next door neighbors bought the same GE machine and they absolutely HATE it. Half the time the whole load never even got wet. She wished she could have her old Whirlpool back so she could do much less loads and clothes come out clean and wet.
