Check it out. A 1950 copy of the Culinary Arts Institute Encyclopedic Cookbook with "Norge Binding."
I just came across my Mom's 1948 (non-Norge) edition the other day.
Amazingly, it appears the Norge binding has held up better than the average. Or maybe this book wasn't used much. ;-)
