Maytag AMP- Works, washes, spins and drains. Needs cord, pump and cosmetics.

Kenmore Dryer- Rebuilt-Works

Kenmore gas dryer- in beautiful shape, have no idea if it works or not.

Agi-Tub-Works. Timer and knob missing but will be installed if someone wants the machine.

Frigidaire Range- Needs a lot of work.

Miele washer- Works, needs drain pump.

Miele condenser dryer, works-no problems found.

Maytag Dishwasher- The picture is awful but the machine is black and beautiful condition. Works perfectly.

Jenn Air belt drive dishwasher. Completely rebuilt with a new pump module.

The JennAire dishwasher is just like the TOL Maytag cousin with the rapid advance timer, but it also featurews a delay start timer (the knob on the far left-hand side of the control panel) A beautiful machine!!!

I'm curious about this one. What year is it? What condition are the racks in? It's made by Maytag?

Well Doug, when it's a reverse-rack Maytag, that JennAir has to be made sometime before 1986 or 1989 when they revamped the whole line. It's a definite classic. Duhh, of course it's made by Maytag.

Judging by the ivory buttons, it appears to be an early to mid 80's machine. Definitely a belt drive unit. I have a bunch of belts for these units if anybody needs them.

I used a BOL direct drive reverse rack Maytag for 20 years up until a month or so ago. As much as I LOVE my KDS-19 (thanks again RCD!!), the Maytag NEVER left goobers on the top of dishes. I know I'll catch some serious shit for this statement, but I really believe a high end reverse rack, such as this one (that preheats the water, or a higher end unit that pre heats and maintains 140F throughout the wash cycle) would probably outperform a Hobart Kitchen-Aid.

One thing I don't miss about the Mayatg was cleaning the jets in both wash arms before every single load. Also, the filter screen is quicker and easier to clean and reinstall on the KDS-19. I guess the ultimate would be owning both machines.

Really liked the burgundy AMP agi blasting at low water level and the glass doored LK dryer and the 80's KM-- lived with one for 6 years, great machine.

The Jennair DW is 1988 close to the end of the run the buttons are actually gray in color they don't show up correctly in the picture. Yes the skinny mini is a GM agitatub model its a mid 1970s model. Dan if your MT DW had problems with clogged wash arms there was something wrong with the micromesh filter either it had holes in it or it wasn't fitting in the pump housing properly I have almost never seen clogged wash arms in MT dishwashers it was a very clever system.

Dan, when you say "cleaning the jets in both wash arms before every single load," why was this necessary? Is there no hard food disposer in these dishwashers, thus food bits get stuck in the wash arms?

And .... for Bob or Dan ... why do you call it a "reverse rack Maytag?"

David please read Combo52 comments about this experience (as a repairman) of these Maytags as well as the micromesh filter. Reverse Rack--Glasses & cups (normally put in the top rack) went in the bottom rack and plantes, flatware, and ... (normally put in the botom rack) went in the top rack.

No it's not a pulsator. It used a solid-tub design with the agitator molded into the tub and it oscilatted back and forth as in agitating.

That is a DWU9962AAB!!! IMHO, the BEST dishwasher Maytag ever made! I had a White one of these and am still in mourning after Maytag KILLED it with that stupidly run, half assedly managed recall they had a while back. "Not repairable due to lack of availablity of parts" my ASS! They were fixing every other model... Grrrrr!

Speaking of which, you should check the model/serial number on her to make sure she's not affected by the rinse aid recall. The fire hazard this could have posed was VERY real... Hopefully, it's not affected and will go to a good home...

Drew, That d/w was in my house, there are no issues with wiring. If you received all of the bulletins, you will recall that if the d/w was not used with rinse aid and there was no wiring damage you could install the rinse aid delete cap.

The mesh screen was fine. I scrubbed it with a toothbrush and blew it out with compressed air every 3 months, or sooner if I heard the pump struggling during the wash cycle, which indicated the filter was clogged. I made sure the screen fit properly within the housing. The problem was always there since it was new, but it seemed to get worse as time went on. I was beginning to find stringy pieces of plastic in the innards towards the end. I think the internals were starting to deteriorate. The lower wash arm outer jets were always plugged up with something after every wash. I've pulled the damnedest things out of the lower wash arm jets with tweezers.

Can't complain. 20 years without a single service call and was still performing just as well as the day it was new. She went out with her boots on!
