love my water bed

We have a king size motionless mattress with lumbar support. Always warm in the winter and always cool in the summer. Usually kick off the top quilt during the night.

There seems to have been something along those lines in many cultures (Spain, Netherlands, etc) at one time or another.

Waterbed here

Only reason I hang on to it is it's nice and warm in the winter.

Between the waterbed and a big orange cat I sleep quite comfey.
