The 1969 film is pretty cool.
In highschool there was an old science video from the early 1980's created by the OTC that discussed the commisioning of Australia's second optical fibre and the wonder that would be ISDN delivered to every house, offering a voice channel and a high speed 64kb Data channel
I suppose that was fast compared to the 1.2kb modems of that era.
Little would they realise just how wrong they got it.
I've attached a link to the OTC recruitment video, I bet they had no idea they'd all be unemployed by the late 90's as they'd all become redundant.
