Free GE dryer on SF C/L. How old?

I rescued a dryer very close to this. How old is this one?

I've seen these featured in ads published in 1963 through 1966 but I've never seen any offical GE documentation on these things, catalog, brochure or cut-sheet. I always thought it was an experimental design with an all-plastic control panel that never made it to the big leagues.

I don't think its any newer than 1963, and probably older.

 

Does anyone have a model number?

Ballpark estimate I would say it's somewhere around the 50 yr old mark.

And this is the deluxe one with high and low heat! WOO HOO. There was another model year in this style with light blue where this one is gray. I had a friend with a matching pair of these, but the washer was not a Filter Flo.
