Very Interesting!

Peter,
Are you going after these?
The Hotpoint dryer is a very good dryer.....
If not, (since is it your neck of the woods) let me know.

You're welcome Brent. Are you interested in them? Wonder if they're both in the 70'

I am not sure about the washer, but I would say 80's.
The Hotpoint dryer might be from the late 70's.
Very good dryer.
Are you interested in it Phamq?
I would encourage you if you are.
If you are Peter, or anyone else is not interested, I might try to nab the dryer. It is would be fun. And also so it does not go to the crusher!

Fake Frigidaire!

I could tell that the washer is a fake frigidaire. This was made after 1980. You could tell from the lid and the bottom front panel. The dryer could be from the 70's.

There is noting really "special" about the dryer, besides it would be a "plug and play" dryer that you would not have to restore, or have sitting around for many years because you don't have the time, parts, or knowledge to repair. The only issue I would imagine with this dryer is would be needing to give it a good cleaning to get rid of lint. I am sure it it is loaded with lint.
The great part about this Hotpoint dryer, and the older GE dryers, esp. gas, is that it is a very "HOT" dryer. And fast. It is great for towels, jeans (if you like tight jeans) etc. All and all, it is built very well. It, to me is one of the last well built GE machines. And not to mention the free tag.
I changed my mind about it since I got a call today from one of my "appliance feelers" that found me an amazing set. So, room is limited, and I will let it pass.
Thanks again for the listing! It is nice that you are looking out! I will try to do the same!

It makes sense that Hot Point dryers are very hot. I wonder if the washer is not a real Frigidaire, then who made it? Look like somebody adopted them.

It is a "Frigidaire" in name sense. It is just not a GM Frigidaire. This washer is after the GM buyout. In the past club members have talked about having this washer, and actually liked it.
LOL about the dryer being a HOTpoint.
