Freezer and Refrigerator Cases in Stores

I was wondering if anyone else has an interest in freezer and refrigeration cases in grocery stores and what ones are in your area.

I've had an interest in them since I was a kid going to the grocery store.

Both Publix here have Hill Phoenix Excellence cases, one with gray ones from the late 90s, the other has beige ones from 2008 or so. One other one used to have Hill cases from the 80s in coral up until around 2004 when they get Hill Phoenix Excellence gray ones. Publix seems to have used Hill and Hill Phoenix Excellence cases exclusively.

The Walmart Supercenter had beige Tyler cases from 1997 or so and in 2008 they were replaced with black cases, some say Hussmann, others Sanyo, and some Hill Phoenix Excellence.

One Winn Dixie that just closed had beige and woodgrain Hill cases from 1985, and gray Kysor Warren cases in the produce from the early 00s. The other Winn Dixie had Hill cases I think and in 2008 it was remodeled and the existing cases got refacing kits and the center island cases were replaced with Hill Phoenix Excellence and Kysor Warren units. Some others were replaced too but have the refacing kits over them so I can't tell the make.

The other Winn Dixie was a Sweetbay and it has Kysor Warren cases from the early 00s when it was originally a Kash N Karry.

I remember Food Lion had Kysor Warren cases too, it seems Delhaize always uses them in their store brands.

Aldi has some cases that I can't recall the name of.

TYLER Refrigeration used to be located north of us, in Niles Michigan.

Last January I stepped into a timewarp of a grocery store, complete with 1970's Hill freezer cases humming away. There was something about the ill-fitting metal trim, the smell of the produce, the orange paint and the slightly gritty VCT under foot that really took me back. I managed to fire off a pic before getting the stink eye.

I dont know the brand names but a local company is taking the compressor heat and using it to heat the market itself with some heat pump technology that air conditions the store too.
