'fridge in the tv show: Bates Motel

I have been watching a few episodes of the Bate Motel. Inside of the house is a white refrigerator which looks like it is from the 50's or 60's? I think the brand of this refrigerator is a Coldspot, but I could be wrong? I was just curious as to know if any of you would know? Thanks, Gary

Michael, Thanks, I thought it was a Coldspot and I did see the Maytag set there. I just finished the entire series. Wow, very intense for sure. Gary

I just finished the series last week, too. I stumbled across it at the library, although I had a vague memory of having heard of this show's existence. I got the Season 1 DVD...and quickly got hooked. There were things I didn't like about how it ended...but I have to really give them credit for creating something that takes a well known character, and having it feel fresh throughout.

 

One thing I'm wondering about that refrigerator: would it have had an evaporator fan inside? I'm sort of guessing those came along later, but in one episode I thought I heard a fan running when the refrigerator opened. Maybe I was wrong--I was going to go back to that scene later, but totally forgot until this came up...

I don't remember hearing a fan? I thought that the fridge was an Admiral but one letter short. I got hooked on it too, just finished the end of the series tonight. Gary

I have seen a lot of Servel 'fridges in movies. I wonder why they used those a great deal? Gary
