Fridge interior painting..
The interior of the cabinet liner is probably porcelain enamel, which is very difficult or impossible to get paint to adhere to. That part will likely need to be touched up in the chipped areas, but not otherwise overall painted.
The plastic trim can be painted, but as said previously, the parts will need to be taken off, cleaned and sanded to remove gloss, and then painted with an appropriate paint.
The reason I decided to respond here is due to an unexpected issue on a project last year. I restored a 1926 Frigidaire, which had a factory painted cabinet, inside and out. There was no porcelain, only paint.
I had the cabinet professionally painted with a two-part acrylic automotive paint. The results were very good, but there has been an unexpected problem. The interior of the cabinet still smells like paint. The smell gets on the bottles and cans stored in the fridge, and then I can smell / taste paint when I drink from them. So you may want to be sure to use a low odor paint for anything interior.
Sincerely,
David
