I have a beautiful, white, Imperial fridge that came with our 1957 home. The fridge works well and is quiet (though “frost free” leaves something to be debated).

Anyhow, I need a foot pedal! The lever that pushes the door is there as are the two screws and a small spring. It is my guess that the pedal broke at some point and was removed.

Any hot tips on finding a replacement?

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I assume that I would find that on a label on the back of the unit?

For all the vintage things I have... appliances is one I’m relatively new to.

Thanks

James

Thank you again. I’ve been out of town. My model number is FPI 13B 61 according to the sticker and the number stenciled on the back.

I confirmed with Mark that he does not have the part. He lists two part numbers that could help - 6587349 Or 5306587349.

Thanks again to all who have replied. Would love to get this fridge back to having that foot pedal!

James
