Fear not, Greg. The Frigidaires are in my friend's house. I'd never get rid of my old Maytags. Frigilux, send me your address and I'll send you the pages of the manual to tell you how to get to the water level control. Then you just turn the screw. BTW, this washer DOES have the dreaded Presicion Temp. What a pain in the a--. You should follow the manual carefully and have plenty of time and patience. The plastic components in the console are very delicate and break easily. What else with anything new??

~I have the same washer and dryer---but where did you buy them to get a SS dryer drum?

SEARS @ one time had an exclusive of Frigidaire dryers with a ss drum. May still be the case.

ironically an appliance store in Syracuse, NY called Ra-Lin's.
According to the salesman, all the new Frigidaire dryers have the SS drum.

I love the stainless steel dryer drum. My Frigidaire dyer has a window in on the door, and that stainless steel drum would look great in my dryer, and would match the washer.
