I rented a house years ago that had the matching dryer to this washer. It was a very good dryer. I actually offered them to let me buy it when I moved, but they did not take me up on my offer.
The washer was actually sitting outside in a shed. The tub was rusted through, and I was too wild to fool with it at the time.

Oh gosh these 1964 model Frigidaires are so cool looking. Hopefully someone will save this one. The Custom Deluxe picture below fared a much worse fate and has since become a Toyota.
(I suspect that the Deluxe did not have a lighted dial, and the Custom Deluxe did).

Trying to find one that is completely intact is almost as rare as finding the machine itself. They rarely have the original "Three-Ring" agitator in them especially with the distinctive detergent column and green/blue rings that are unique to the '63 and '64 models.
I DO hope this one finds a good home. Any serious Frigidaire collector should have one if they can. A fabulous find.

Agreed Steve - 1964 models are hard to find with the original Three Ring column. Usually were replaced with the Jet Action agitator.
(I don't mean to hijack your thread Rich) Jed - the Custom Deluxe pictured above, along with a half dozen other Frigidaire and Maytag washers went to the crusher earlier this year. I had been trying for a few years to get in touch with the owner - we all know the story. Stopped by after the Great Flood, which I found out took all the Frigidaire parts with it.

If I could afford the shipping costs, I would take that puppy and the Frigidaire dryer that is the close match. Why General Motors ever stopped making them still mystifies me. These were some of the best.
