Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Goodness Pierre, you REALLY cannot believe that people want to buy FL machines, can you?!

When someone asks for help deciding on a compact FL washer (as stated in post 1), it's not that helpful to completely derail the topic.

And back on topic, I'd suggest a Bosch from those three. Though an Electrolux group machine, if there's one that suits, or LG may also be a good bet.

FLs don't typically occupy the lower price tiers though IMO worth the difference. Today's cheap/compact TLs are plate drive which have pronounced drawbacks like fabric wear, tangling, not using enough water. (I own one but it's a twintub so I control the water and the agitate time.)

Hard to scale the sizes from photos; most seem designed to appear gargantuan whether they really are or not. (Marketing, rolleyes.)

Had good use from my Electrolux (via White/Frigidaire). But nothing is the same as it was in 1998.

I'm a bit skeptical of that review of the Blomberg machine - they say they struggle to fit an 8lb load in it... so I wonder what on earth they were trying to wash, as an 8lb load in my 7kg rated machine will barely half fill it.
