Can anyone give me any information on this company? What's their history? Are they made by another brand? How are there appliances quality wise? Will they ever make washers and dryers? I'm mostly interested in their dishwashers, any good?

Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH

Hi Jamie,
Gaggenau is a brand name of BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH.

Hi Lawrence,

Gaggenau like Juno and Miele Refrigerators/Freezers (bet that will have a few snob's knickers in a twist) as well as several other "high-quality" brands are built by B/S/H.
I worked with the B/S/H enginners (teaching English, translating) and was very surprised to learn that they build the Miele range of cooling appliances. Sure, they said - same quality as our cheapest stuff. Same assembly line, quality control, etc. Not valid for the washers, dishwashers they were quick to point out - there, Miele built better quality.
Here in Europe, many manufacturers build for other manufacturers. The compressors used in almost all European refrigerators are built by a very well known (and not highly regarded) Italian firm...the motors used in many appliances across the board in the 70's and 80's were frequently from just three producers...and so on.
One must never ignore the snob factor in marketing. I am sure Laundress could inform us far better of this than I can, but sometimes I just have to laugh at the comments some folks make about their special brand names...they pay twice or thrice for the name and naught else. Well, whatever floats your boat.
This said, Gaggenau and Juno are a bit like Kitchen Aid and Jenn-Air. Once truly great brands, now-a-days they just exist to sell Roper technology to those who care more about brand names than quality.
Neff and Constructa are two other Siemens/Bosch brands. There are quite a few more.
I recently replaced my parent's US dishwasher. Wanted Miele or Bosch, but knew it was going to have to be, sigh, a US brand. Turns out the cheapest Amana (on sale for 250$) had exactly the same washing components as the Whirlpools and Maytags costing even 500$ more. They had fancy functions, snob appeal brand names...but the actual innards were the same, identical quality and material.
Kinda makes you wonder...

Miele fridges and freezers are Liebherr built, not Bosch-Siemens. They may use similar unseen bits, I don't know, but they're not the same as BSH.

Gaggenau, I think, do have a few odd special features that you don't get on other BSH branded machines - though mostly it's styling.

Juno?

Sorry, do you mean that all the Juno products are built by BSH or just the Refrigerators/Freezers? Because Juno belongs to Electrolux, don`t they? I can't imagine that Electrolux lets BSH built all the Juno appliances.

Does anyone know?

The Difference is Gaggenau....!!!!

Hi Jamie, Gaggenau is a very TOL German manufacturer of contempororary Kitchen Products, the products are high quality combined with matching aesthetics, they place great emphasis on Form a well as Function...A stand alone company until the mid 90`s when combined into the B/S/H group....if you really want style, edgy products with a twist then this company has it...

You may find some of their Laundry Products still about, especially in commercial places, these where the ASKO made machines, although not currently produced...Heres a link to the website for history, products etc...
