On the Gain Web Site...
I stopped by my local Walmart for a Gain Dish sample, but there were none. Then again, there are three Walmarts in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area and I neglected to check first for which location and what time. Anyway, at least the Gain Dish Detergent is available online.--Laundry Shark

Too Much On The Shelves?
Let's see now: Colgate-Palmolive has three dish liquid brands (Palmolive, Ajax and Crystal White Octagon). Now P&G is rolling out Gain liquid in addition to the established Dawn, Joy and Ivory brands. Plus, count the number of scented/antibacterial/ultra/regular/oxy/hand sofening variations of the major brands, coupled with smaller brands such as Sunlight; the so-called "green" versions such as Planet, Ecover and Seventh Generation; various regional offerings; and supermarket/private label brands. The result is far too many dish drops from which to choose from.
Don't get me wrong; I like choice. But this proliferation is getting out of hand. Certainly, a little thinning of the dishwashing detergent herd is in order.

Dish Soap Collection
I do have a sizeable dish soap collection. I have at least two flavors of Ajax, Palmolive, Dawn, and Joy. I also have Ivory and Sunlight. I noticed my local Walmart now has Ajax and Palmolive. Otherwise, they still carry Dawn, Ivory, and Simplicity, which is probably a store brand. In Fareway, I have seen Dermassage, but no Crystal White in the usual stores I shop. In fact, On the Colgate site, Crystal White is no longer listed. Only have so much room in one of my Rubbermaid storage totes, where I stowe away relatively small items, such as hand soap, and other personal care items. The dish soap bottles are not terribly big. So managed to fit my collection in alongside the other mentioned items. As soon as I find the Gain Dish Soap, it will join the rest in the collection. Currently working on a bottle of Dawn Lemon at the kitchen sink. Don't have room to collect the subvariants, such as the bleach alternative or antibacterial, lotioned, etc. Just the main and the plain flavors are fine.--Laundry Shark
