I quite like the White panel, and I concurr, oak is not my favorite either. Perhaps a nice Ray Wood Ash. I bet that
orbitally gyrating wash arm is quite efficient; But???
does the monitor work on your "belief system" ?

Bob - glad to hear this is a good cleaning machine!! I'm starting to plan my kitchen re-model, and depending on the colors I pick, I may wind up replacing my current GE TT, which is white and does not have panels that can be changed, just a solid, frameless door. So, I started looking at what I might get if I did have to replace it, and will put this (or similar KitchenAid) on the list. Hopefully, she'll be as reliable for you as the GE was.

I still miss my old GE Potscrubber, which turns 30 years old in August and is still going, and still no repairs according to the folks that bought my old house in PA. It was just noisy (and it still is). I could hear it running in the background the last time I talked to them on the phone last month. They still love it though.
