GE Cadet Blue double oven and Cooktop

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

OMG. I'd be so on those if either one of those beautiful cadet ovens had a rotisserie inside of it. I guess it took a while for GE to figure out that the vertical double-oven configuration would be a winner. That kitchen, from the looks of it, was state of the art for 1957; I imagine that Grand Rapids house is a suburban classic.

I've a feeling these beauties are going to end up as somebody's fender.

Lost ?

Hello all,

We are working on a remodel of the house and these would be a fantastic fit for our kitchen we have planned. The add is no longer working has anyone had communication with this poster or know how we can get a hold of them.

Check out this thread...the owner was not really interested in selling, it seems.

Happy for you...

Matt, congratulations. Did you buy them from another source? I only ask because you offered a fair price and then you said he wasn't interested in selling, only getting an appraisal.

The guy selling them was a jerk, he wanted a fortune and wouldn't budge on price, that was in April, now months later he finally came down to $400. My business partner Scott probably is going to use them when he remodels his kitchen, his wife hasn't given the final ok. Just happened to come across a CB fridge, what are the chances?

Cadet Blue was only offered for 55 and 56. When the redesigned 57s came out Cadet Blue was no more.
