An apartment building where I lived at one time had washers like that.

I saw a laundry in a small town we were passing through about a year ago and they had about 20 of these in a row all with the lids up and the filters leaning on the lids.  Was a sight to see.  I wonder if the coin op filter flos were produced  after the GE change to plastic stuff in the mid 90'd?  If not those that I saw would be about 16 or more years old.

I have sales literature of a coin-op GE 20-front-loader made by Duplex Machinery.

Judging from the console and the styling, I'd say it was probably 1960's era.. Mid to Late 60's from the looks of it.

Does anyone on this forum collect Coin-Op washers?
