My mother just bought a house that was built in 1968 by a wealthy dentist (the house is way cool!) and the only original (at least I think it's original) appliance in the kitchen is this GE double wall oven. I know next to nothing about it other than it appears to be in really great shape and is incredibly clean! The rest of the appliances in the kitchen are brand new BOL white appliances that have been SPRAY PAINTED to match the ovens.

They have already decided to gut the kitchen but she is so impressed by the condition of these ovens that she thought it a shame to send them to scrapper and she asked me if anyone on here might be interested in them. I have no clue what these are worth and it may be a month or two before they have time to actually remove them from the kitchen.

They are located in Dexter, Michigan.

Nice........

but not self-cleaning. There would be the locking mechanism on the upper oven, between the control panel and the door handle. That will make these either easier to sell or, much more challenging to sell.

I would imagine that they would perform flawlessly, however.

What the market would bear, and I doubt (sorry!) if you'd get any offer much over 75.00, if that.

Thanks for the responses!!!

I spoke with my mom about it and she'd like to just offer them free to anyone on here that wants them. If they aren't claimed, she'll just recycle them. They'll probably be around for a few months or up to a year while she remodels her current house to sell and then she'll get started on remodeling the new house.
