Now if you could find the part number to the fabric softner dispenser we'd be in business! I'm getting REALLY ANNOYED with the Downy Ball, and finding a FS dispenser for these older machines is damn near impossible. You can't use a more recent dispenser either since the recirculation flume directs the water into the top of them! UGH!!!!!!!

Softener dispenser

You mean a dispenser like this one? It's a bit dusty and dirty, but will clean up nice. I offered it to someone here free, just pay shipping. Never heard back.

If no one else has claimed it yet, I'll take it. As nasty as it is, it's actually CLEANER than that direct-drive Kenmore that's stinking up the garage at the moment...Nothing some elbow grease and a trip through the dishwasher won't take care of.
