Just idle curiousity again. Is a GE "globe top" monitor top fridge user servicable? I'm just wondering how GE put it all together and how to take one apart if I have to go on repairing relays and such.
Thanks!
Chris

It honestly depends on what you're trying to do to them. They use so2 as refrigerant which is rather nasty. The relays and cold controls are serviceable if you handle them nicely. The rest is sealed(welded) and should stay that way.

The DR series(1927-1932) are the most fickle to work with. The CA, CK, and CG are much easier.
